Most every Tuesday, I post new Tony Polls questions for your voting entertainment. Last week, I asked you to rate several summer movies. The turnout was surprisingly small with a number of voters sending me apologetic e-mails saying that they hadn't seen more than a few of the films. They still had me beat. I haven't seen any of them.
Here are the number of voters for each movie:
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull...55
Incredible Hulk...47
Get Smart...35
Wall*E...31
Hancock...30
Speed Racer...29
Wanted...24
I'm hoping to see some of these movies before they leave the local multiplex, but I'll watch all of them sooner or later on DVD. Here's how you rated the movies:

Hopefully, this week's Tony Polls questions will prove of greater interest to TOT readers since they concern comic books and your beloved Tipster:
Would you like to see a change in editorial direction and management at DC Comics?
Would you like to see a change in editorial direction and management at Marvel Comics?
Which of these (15) companies would you most like to see knock Marvel or DC out of the two top spots?
Which of these (19) choices would you most like to see be the next job for Tony Isabella?
The last two come with a write-in option, but, to exercise it, you'll have to send your write-in vote to:
Because today's column is another short one - necessitated by a computer problem that took several hours to resolve - it won't be charged to the "Tip Your Tipster" account. So we still have five more full-length columns before the lack of donations will force us to go on hiatus.
Thanks for spending a part of your day with me. I'll be back tomorrow with more "DC Challenge" reviews.
I review The Amazing Adventures of Nate Banks #1: Secret Identity Crisis, Secret Identity Crisis: Comic Books and the Unmasking of Cold War America and The Walking Dead Volume 2: Miles Behind Us.
ZERO: Burn your money before buying any comic receiving this rating. It doesn't *necessarily* mean there's absolutely nothing of value here - though it *could* - but whatever value it might possess shrinks into insignificance before its overall awfulness.
ONE: Buy something else. Maybe I found something which wasn't completely dreadful in the item, but not enough for me to recommend it when there are better comics available. I only want what's best for you, my children.
TWO: Basic judgment call. I found some value, but not enough to recommend it. My review should give you enough info to decide if you want to take a chance on it. Are you feeling lucky today, punk? Well, are you?
THREE: This denotes something I find perfectly respectable. There are better books out there, but I wouldn't regret buying this item. Based on my review, you should be able to determine if it's of interest to you. Let the Force guide you.
FOUR: I recommend anything earning this rating. Unless you don't like the genre, subject matter, or past work of the creators, I believe you'll enjoy this item. Isn't it uncanny how I can look right into your soul that way?
FIVE: Anything getting this rating is among the best comicdom has to offer. You should buy/read this, even if the genre/subject matter doesn't appeal to you. It's for your own good. Me, I live for comics and books this good...but not in a pathetic "Comic-Book Guy" sort of way.
